photographic themes

My thoughts on this shooting assignment were kinda excited because I wanted to see how I could translate the themes into my own work. I think my end result turned out pretty good for my first time doing something like this but in the future I definitely plan to do better. My favorite photo on here is the one of the flower and it's for abandonment. Another one I like is the picture for pride.

Understanding Aperture

Aperture is the size of the opening in the lens when a picture is taken. It works by allowing light to come into the photo, the bigger the aperture the more light that comes in. The relationship between the shutter speed is how long it lets the light come through and with the iso it's the sensitivity it has with the light.

blog post #6 sketch book entry

blog post #5 peer portrait

Dear future husband of Heidi Dell,

I am writing to inform you about your wife. She loves photography and wants to learn how to photograph different things and edit them in Photoshop. If she could take a picture of anything in the world it would be a dinosaur. One thing that she doesn’t like about her self is her lack of patience. Currently she hopes to marry her boyfriend one day, graduate college and become a teacher or chef. During Heidi’s free time she loves to read books. Another thing she does in her free time is work. If you were looking for her a good place to look would be a coffee shop with a book. If Heidi could get rid of one thing about pop culture it would be stereotypes about gays. A habit that she would want to try and break is staying up too late, especially on school nights.  She has a phobia of scorpions. If she could change one thing about her self it would be her short temper and her impatience. If Heidi could have one super power it would be to transport anywhere because it would be convenient. If you were to surprise her by taking her out to dinner a good place to take her would be Red Lobster.

Sincerely, Lindsay
