motion planning blogpost
light writing- for the light writing I used a water bottle and turned off the lights and used a laser pointer and traced the outside of the bottle. I put the camera on bulb and held down on the button.
zooming- for zooming I used the vending machine and focused on the center and zoomed in and took the picture at the same time.
frozen motion- I used a moving car for this and focused on the background and the car at the same time and used a really fast shutter speed so as the car went by I took the picture
blurred subject- for this I used a car as well and focused only on the background so as the car went by it turned out blurry
panning- for this photo my subject was carina and as she ran by I stayed focused on her and took the picture as she ran so the background was blurry
chrono- for this photo I took 5 different photos. I took one of the background then 4 others of my subject in different positions then went onto photoshop and edited them so it would be one picture

During this assignment I learned several things about taking motion pictures. I learned how to capture different types of motion pictures and how to set things up. I enjoyed this assignment because I not only learned a new technique but I could also express my own ideas through these photos. I think that my pictures turned out well for just learning how to do this and I hope to continue to get better at this technique and practice more.

This person is important in my life because she is my sister. She has always been a part of my life and she is someone who can be there for me to look up to. These photos show her personality of being focused and somewhat shy due to lack of looking right at the camera and crazy poses. She was wearing a t-shirt which shows she likes to be comfortable and we did the shoot in my house to show she likes being around family. This unit has affected my photography by letting me explore my style more and to let me figure out lighting and posing on my own.
