motion planning blogpost

light writing- for the light writing I used a water bottle and turned off the lights and used a laser pointer and traced the outside of the bottle. I put the camera on bulb and held down on the button.

zooming- for zooming I used the vending machine and focused on the center and zoomed in and took the picture at the same time.

frozen motion- I used a moving car for this and focused on the background and the car at the same time and used a really fast shutter speed so as the car went by I took the picture

blurred subject- for this I used a car as well and focused only on the background so as the car went by it turned out blurry

panning- for this photo my subject was carina and as she ran by I stayed focused on her and took the picture as she ran so the background was blurry

chrono- for this photo I took 5 different photos. I took one of the background then 4 others of my subject in different positions then went onto photoshop and edited them so it would be one picture

During this assignment I learned several things about taking motion pictures. I learned how to capture different types of motion pictures and how to set things up. I enjoyed this assignment because I not only learned a new technique but I could also express my own ideas through these photos. I think that my pictures turned out well for just learning how to do this and I hope to continue to get better at this technique and practice more.
